It's built in WiFi supports connection to any hotspot, whether it's using 802.11 a, b, or g. It can also connect to your mobile phone via Bluetooth if there are not hotspots around.

Versions of the Vaio UX available in the USA also have a built in EDGE/GPRS modem, which with a mobile SIM card installed and a suitable data plan also allows you to connect to the internet
